Re-branding, branding workshop and logo design.

Who are they?

Biz Evde Yokuz is an adventure blog run by two travellers who share all their knowledge with other travel enthusiasts in Turkey. Then they decided they wanted to bring that value to the world.

What was the brief?

Their new worldwide platform was to be called "nomaddiction" but it needed an identity. An identity that would still reflect the existing blog's look and feel.

The Turkish blog’s logo also needed a redesign, so we needed to create something that would work perfectly across both blogs.

What did we deliver?

We suggested a core workshop to redefine the brand and its culture, voice, value, audiences and benefits for those audiences. After organising our thoughts and determining our goals, it was time to turn abstract ideas into concrete solutions.

Next we reviewed every single key word we captured in the workshop and read hundreds of comments on their social media accounts to influence the creation of 3 mood-boards. You rarely reach “The One” first try when you’re designing a logo. Picking the right alternative takes time and requires collaboration.
Blue and pink marks, just like the ones on trekking routes, represent the idea of guiding travel enthusiast. The frame outside the marks ties in the old "Biz Evde Yokuz" logo shape and has great potential for the brand’s signature image on social media.

What did they think?

Our brief was extremely complicated and honestly, I was not sure it was even possible to attain that in a logo. What we thought would be a simple logo process became a very deep look at our brand. First, they helped us redefine who we are facilitated some workshops which allowed us to find an unanimous voice. Even then we didn't think all of that could be represented in an elegant, clean logo. But they did it! We were so happy with both the process and the outcome. We will definitely go back to Hype and Seek anytime we need a visual problem solved. Highly recommended!
