Discovery

The discovery session is to learn about your business's, goals, customers, current positioning and more. We discuss company value, products/service features and benefits and what makes your company different.

Research

Market and Customers

Branding is not what we say it is, but what they say it is, so it’s important to hear from your customers on how they describe the brand and their experience. Sometimes this looks like interviews or observations, and sometimes it’s reading their comments, emails and tweets addressed to you or your competitors, or about the problems that your business is solving. We the present what we’ve found to you before the next stage.

Styleboards

Choosing a direction

Think of styleboards as advanced moodboards. Based on the insights from our Discovery and Research, we curate up to 3 directions for you to choose from. Each board gives a feel of what the brand might look and feel like, and it forms the foundation of the Creation stage. Together, we decide which is the best fit for the future of the brand.

Creation

Designs and Application

We design multiple alternative logos. Depending on your needs, we might also look at brand taglines, social media templates, email templates or websites. This is usually the favourite stage, as you’ll see your new brand applied to packaging and marketing campaign assets, giving you a taste of what it will look like when it’s finished.

Iterations

Refine and Test

This is where we dig into the details and tweak the original concept until it’s just right. If you want to change the copy a little or test a variation with your customers, we’ll get it done together before we move on.

Delivery & Aftercare

Consistency and Accountability

Once you’re happy with the designs, we create a brand bible to help you keep things consistent. Depending on your package, you’ll also get a delivery of files from us including things like packaging designs, social media template and patterns.We know some clients like help staying accountable, so we add you to our #aftercare Slack channel for up to 3 months where you’ll be able to ask any questions. Optional but recommended, we all pop a cork and celebrate!
